Working in part with Canadian icons The Tragically Hip, we created an identity for a promising Licensed Producer in Canada’s growing cannabis market.
The Logo
The Identity itself represents new beginnings. The seedlings of change, or in this case, a new idea for how cannabis is perceived in modern society. Our growing culture of acceptance makes Canada a leader in challenging old stigmas, and giving this new market a fertile place to thrive.
Working on a project in association with Canada’s most iconic band was definitely a challenge, as respecting their legacy was paramount. We were able to extract their core values as a group and establish a foundation we could build from.
The name itself can hold different meanings to different people, which respects and acknowledges our unique experiences as Canadians. No single narrative defines us as a people.
The Package
Our packaging is direct in its impact, but not without subtlety. Clever details, laid paper stock, practical clarity of information, and a touch of whimsy make this a winning design.
